Day 7: Bozeman, MT

There are 3 things I look for every time I visit a new city:
  1. Book stores
  2. Record stores
  3. Coffee shops
I just think those are the best ways to get to know the culture and vibe of a new place, and whenever I spend time in a city where I've never been that's what I look for. That's one of the reasons I was disappointed in cities like Duluth and Bismarck - nothing good.

But I really like Bozeman. It's got great versions of all 3 and it's the first spot on my trip where I thought to myself, "I could see myself living here."

Anyway, low key day. After work I got to really explore downtown: book stores, record stores, mountain gear, etc. Had a beer at a some small bar.

Outdoor end-of-season closeout ski sale.

Grabbed some dinner at a taco truck.

Low key night. Gonna pack and lay low. Hitting the road early tomorrow and heading for some hikes at Big Sky and Yellowstone. Big day!
