Day 20: Kalamazoo, MI

The trip was just going too smoothly...

I left my hotel room around 8am and spent the day working at my clients office in Dayton. It was great to see some familiar faces (everyone was wearing masks) and hang out at their office while getting stuff done.

After work, I headed out to Kalamazoo, which was about a 4 hour drive. Nothing too interesting but it was a really nice drive and the farmland was cool to look at.

Finally crossed into my (new) home state. It's been a long 3 weeks since I left Michigan!

Arrived at my relatives house in Kalamazoo to realize that...

I left my suitcase in Dayton.

The checkout process took forever for some inexplicable reason and I must have gotten so aggravated that I left my suitcase in the lobby and didn't realize until tonight. It's even more annoying because I was in Dayton, 20 min from the hotel, until 5pm. The suitcase has a tag with my name on it, but apparently the hotel staff never even thought to call me...?

Anyway, my client is gonna pick it up for me and ship it back to Traverse City. No big deal, it's just clothes but it's still super annoying and frustrating.

The last work day of my trip tomorrow...
