Day 11: Craig, CO
I am exhausted. My goal for the day was to get as close to Denver (9 hours away) as possible and I ended up being on the road for 9+ hours and I'm still 4 hours away.
I hit the road around 1pm my time after a client meeting and drove south from Jackson for about 3 hours. It wasn't until this point that I realized how close the Utah line was and that I could add a little bit of time to my trip to cross another state off my list that I hadn't originally intended on. So I did!
Pretty sure this is the dirt road intersection from the end of "Castaway."
Godzilla with a baseball bat?
My journey through Utah took me through some cavernous canyons that were once home to dinosaurs. There were signs that marked where velociraptors and stegosauruses once roamed.
Booked a cheap motel in a little city called Craig, Colorado and checked in at 11pm. Too tired to write more tonight, but I think these pictures outline my day better than I could anyway.
Enjoyed the Utah photos! What's the goal for Denver Tim?
